This is the popular large cockpit model which Ocean Alexander produced from 1987 to 1999. The main access to the interior is through a large sliding door on the starboard side of the boat. Down a few steps, inside, the two-stateroom, galley-down layout also includes a built-in dinette conveniently located across from the galley. The salon has an L-settee to port with built-in entertainment center forward. The L-settee can sleep two addtional people. A glass and teak high-low table and custom drapes and pillows are also included. Forward to starboard is the lower station with instrumentation and and access door to the deck. The U-shaped galley on the port side is a few steps down forward of the salon. It has lots of storage and counter space and is separate but part-of the open salon area. To starboard forward and down from the lower station is the dinette with beautiful teak table, chart storage beneath and custom upholstered bench seats. Forward of this area is the guest stateroom with v-berth and filler, lots of strage and a hanging locker and separate head and sink.
Aft of the salon down four steps is the large master stateroom with queen walk-around berth, loads of storage, lots of light from strategically placed ports and windows, a built-in vanity with mirror and swivel built-in seat, a complete head with electric toilet and fully enclosed shower with glass door and sink.
The covered aft deck is another spacious area for entertaining anytime of the year. Up a few steps to the flybridge is seating for six to eight with two helm chairs and two large bench seats. Additional features include a well-organized engine room, full walk-arounds and generous storage, and a large cockpit.
With its newer diesel furnace, this boat is an ideal year-around cruiser!
